§ Mr. Dewarasked the Secretary of State for Scotland whether he will hold discussions with interested bodies with a view to the implementation of more adequate training for sheriffs in Scotland on the lines suggested for England in the Bridge report on judicial studies and information.
§ Mr. RifkindCopies of the report were sent to the Sheriffs' Association in October last year. My right hon. Friend is considering what further discussion with other bodies may be appropriate.
