§ Mr. Ridleyasked the Secretary of State for Industry whether authorisation has been obtained under the Non-proliferation Act for the export of microcircuits from the United States to International Computers Ltd. for use in a computer for the Atomic Energy Authority.
§ Mr. Les HuckfieldI understand that the United States Department of Commerce has now ruled that such authorisation is not required in respect of semiconductors used in computer manufacturers.
