§ Mr. MarksHeating and hot water in the Palace of Westminster are normally provided by gas. Oil was used in the week ending 26 January because of heavy demand for gas generally, and 20,000 gallons were consumed. The volume of the buildings is not known sufficiently 71W accurately to calculate the number of gallons per cubic foot.
