asked the Secretary of State for Employment how many representations he has now received asking him to abolish or amend the Employment Protection Act; and how many of those were from small businesses.

Since we took office, I and my ministerial colleagues have received more than 150 representations asking us to abolish or amend the Employment Protection Act. A substantial proportion of these were from small businesses or organisations representing them.
