§ Mr. Brocklebank-Fowlerasked the Secretary of State for Employment if he will publish in the Official Report the unemployment figures for West Norfolk in February 1974 and February 1979 together with the percentage increase in unemployment which this represents.
§ Mr. Golding, pursuant to his reply [Official Report, 2 April 1979], gave the following answer:
In the areas covered by the Downham Market, Hunstanton and Kings Lynn employment offices, which together closely correspond to the area of West Norfolk, the numbers of people registered as unemployed at February 1974 and February 1979 were 908 and 2,695, respectively, an increase of 196.8 per cent.
