HC Deb 03 April 1979 vol 965 c567W
40. Mr. Costain

asked the Secretary State for Social Services what steps he proposes to take to ensure that the casualty unit at the Royal Victoria hospital, Folkestone is not restricted following the opening of the William Harvey hospital at Ashford.

Mr. Moyle

Kent area health authority plans to retain a minor injuries service at the Royal Victoria hospital and I have been assured that every effort will be made by the authority to maintain adequate staffing cover for this purpose. A full accident and emergency service will be available at the William Harvey hospital.
