asked the Secretary of State for Scotland if he will initiate a survey of marginal land and the use that is currently being made of it similar to the one currently being conducted in England.

As my right hon. Friend the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food made clear in the reply given to my hon. Friend the Member for Brecon and Radnor (Mr. Roderick) on 14 March 1979, the survey will extend over the whole of the United Kingdom.—[Vol. 964, c. 193–4].
