§ Mr. Clinton DavisThe Protection of Wrecks Act 1973 has enabled my Department to make a valuable contribution towards the safeguarding of our underwater cultural heritage. We are today publishing a booklet entitled "Historic 593W Wrecks: the role of the Department of Trade"—copies of which are being placed in the Library—describing what, with the assistance of the advisory committee on historic wreck sites, has been achieved to date.
