asked the Lord President of the Council what is the estimated loss to the Refreshment Department as a result of the industrial action taken by staff on Wednesday 28 March.

The estimated loss of revenue is in the region of £4,000.

The price of a 3 oz. portion of chipped potatoes was increased to 14p in October 1978.

The Catering Sub-Committee does not think it appropriate to disclose purchase prices, but the cost of potatoes is subject to seasonal variations.

asked the Lord President of the Council whether he will publish in the Official Report as much detailed information as may be readily available giving actual or estimated stated price increases, or percentage increases in the food and beverages as supplied in the Members' Cafeteria and Dining Room as at October 1974 until the latest and most convenient stated date.
