§ Mr. Arthur Lewisasked the Lord President of the Council to what extent he estimates there would be a rise or fall in the individual or collective payments made to hon. Members for travel, secretarial and research assistants, &c., if all expense payments, including attendance at committees, were paid on the same basis as that now being paid to the Members of the European Assembly.
