§ Mr. Cryerasked the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland if he will give the main terms of the agreement between the De Lorean Motor Car Co. Ltd. and the 535W De Lorean Research Partnership Ltd. under which a licence is being granted for De Lorean Motor Car Co. Ltd. to produce the DMC 12 car.
§ Mr. Concannon,pursuant to his reply [Official Report, 30 March 1979], gave the following answer:
The company has transferred to the research partnership all rights to and all existing development work performed for the DMC 12 car. The research partnership will use its best efforts to complete development of the DMC 12 and perform work on the elastic reservoir moulding (ERM) process. The research partnership has agreed to grant to the company by 22 September 1979 a licence of its rights to the DMC 12 and the ERM process, including any development made by the research partnership. In consideration of the licence, the company will pay to the research partnership a royalty on each car sold.
§ Mr. Cryerasked the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland if he will place copies of the articles in the United States motor magazines Road and Truck, Car and Driver and Motor Trend, relating to the De Lorean sports car and which were used to assist in assessing its feasibility in the Library.
§ Mr. Concannon,pursuant to his reply [Official Report, 30 March 1979], gave the following answer:
Yes. This will be arranged as soon as possible.
