§ Mr. Patrick Jenkinasked the Secretary of State for Social Services if he will discuss with his colleagues at the EEC Council of Health Ministers on 16th November the issue of free movement of overseas-trained doctors within the Community.
§ Mr. EnnalsI have, on more than one occasion, stated my sympathy for overseas-trained doctors in their wish to be treated under the EEC medical directives in the same way as their colleagues who have been trained in one of the EEC member States. I am still considering how best to pursue this matter.
