HC Deb 24 October 1978 vol 955 c793W
Mr. Warren

asked the Secretary of State for Transport if he will publish the latest traffic statistics taken at measurement points on the A21 between Hastings and Tonbridge together with comparative statistics available for dates five years and 10 years ago.

Mr. Horam

The following table shows the estimates of average August daily flows between 0600 and 2200 hours at each monitored site on the A21 between Tonbridge and Hastings. Counting commenced at these sites during the period 1969–72 and, in the majority of cases, was repeated after five years; the figures shown in the right hand columns are the latest available. No data are available for the period 10 years prior to the 1974–77 servey.
