§ Mr. John:We have not consulted immigrant organisations about the draft directive, but some organisations with an interest in it have given evidence to the Scrutiny Committee in another place. I am aware of the concern that has been expressed about certain aspects of the draft, and this has been kept well in mind in discussions at Brussels.
