Hayman24. Mrs. asked the Secretary of State for the Home Department how many representations he has received since October 1974 on the matter of the citizenship of children born in foreign countries to British mothers and foreign fathers.
§ Mr. John:There is no separate record of the number of letters mentioning this subject received before April 1977. Of the letters received in direct response to the Green Paper on nationality law, 91 have mentioned it; and there have been 161 other letters since April 1977 calling for a change in the law.
