§ Mr. WellbelovedAs I explained to the right hon. Member on 28th April 1977, a programme of improvements, including extension of the main runway, is planned at RAF Stornoway in order to provide the airfield with the facilities necessary for its military use in emergency.—[Vol. 930 c. 378.] We are currently considering the views on these plans of the local authority, which have recently been communicated to us.
