§ Dr. SummerskillThe principal services provided by the Home Office to the States of Jersey and the States of Guernsey are the accommodation in prisons in England and Wales of certain offenders sentenced by the Island courts, for which the full economic cost is charged; the training of certain Island officers, for which the full economic cost is charged; and the inspection of certain Island services, for which the charge depends on the duration of the inspecting officer's visit.
