§ Mr. William RodgersThe Commission has now notified the Government, in a letter dated 11th May, of its decision taken at a meeting on 26th April to initiate proceedings against the United Kingdom before the Court of Justice. The letter said that the United Kingdom Government would be given formal notification of the start of proceedings. No indication was given of the likely timetable.
