HC Deb 23 March 1978 vol 946 c671W
Rev. Ian Paisley

asked the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland when he expects to bring in legislation for the setting up of an employment appeals tribunal in Northern Ireland which will give Northern Ireland citizens the same right of appeal from an industrial appeals tribunal as is accorded to citizens in the rest of the United Kingdom.

Mr. Concannon

The establishment of an employment appeals tribunal for Northern Ireland is currently under consideration. Meanwhile the citizens of Northern Ireland will continue to have the right to appeal against the decision of industrial tribunals to the Northern Ireland Court of Appeal.
