§ Mr. Cartwrightasked the Secretary of State for Employment what proposals have been put forward for a community industry scheme in the London Borough of Greenwich and when it is expected to start operations.
§ Mr. GoldingI am informed by the Manpower Services Commission that the community industry scheme in Greenwich began last November 1977. It is currently operating from the Lewisham community industry office and employs 30 young people from Greenwich. There are nine proposed projects, four of which are actually in operation.
