§ 28. Mr. Michael McNair-Wilsonasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department what measures he intends to introduce to increase parental liability in cases where persons under 10 years of age are found to be the cause of acts of vandalism.
§ Mr. JohnNone. Children under 10 who commit acts which in the case of an older child would be an offence may be brought before the juvenile court as in need of care and control. I am satisfied that the juvenile courts' powers are adequate in these cases.
