§ Mr. Maddenasked the Secretary of State for Transport (1) what estimate he has made of the extent to which the railway network has the capacity to transport made-up motor vehicles;
(2) what estimate is available to him of the number of made-up vehicles transported by British motor manufacturers within the United Kingdom last year, and in each of the past five years; what number is expected to be transported over the next year; and, in each case, if he will list the number transported by road and by rail, respectively.
