§ Mr. MaclennanAs my right hon. Friend has stated on a number of occasions, the rate of inflation will remain at or about its April level for the remainder of this year. Such calculations are based on factors other than simply continuing current trends. Continuing current trends is too imprecise a basis upon which to make the calculations the hon. Member requests.
