§ Mr. GoldingI am informed by the Manpower Services Commission that a total of 5,177 training awards were made available by industrial training boards in the 1977–78 training year, of which 4,929 have been taken up to date. The gross cost of the number available is £8.85 million, at an average per capita cost of £1,709.
