§ 45. Sir John Rodgersasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department if he will ensure that spouses of Service personnel who have filled in the requisite Service unit form will be entitled to vote at the next General Election; and what will be the position of those who have not registered as yet as Service voters.
§ Mr. JohnOnly those whose names appear on the published electoral register are entitled to vote. Those Service voters who have not yet registered will be unable to vote in parliamentary or local government elections before 16th February 1979.
