§ Dr. John CunninghamThe only organisation from which I have received representations about the taxing of gas is the National Gas Consumers' Council. There have, however, been more than 140 letters from individual members of the public—some direct, others forwarded by hon. Members—on this subject since January 1976. All strongly opposed a tax on gas in any form.
