§ Sir F. Bennettasked the Secretary of State for Social Services if he will reconsider his negative response to recent representations made by the National Federation of the Blind to the Prime Minister in regard to its claim for certain special social benefits.
§ Mr. Alfred MorrisI met representatives of the national organisations of and for blind people, including the National Federation of the Blind, on 19th July. My response to their case was not negative and my Department will give careful consideration to all of the points that were put to me.
