§ The Prime MinisterThe only salaried Commission is the Royal Commission on the distribution of income and wealth. The current membership is Lord Diamond—chairman, Professor J. Greve, Professor D. E. C. Wedderburn, Sir Neville Butterworth, Mr. D. E. Lea, Professor A. B. Atkinson, Mr. A. M. G. Christopher and Mr. D. Vanderweycr. Past members were Professor P. Brown, Mr. G. H. Doughty, Mr. L. Murphy and Mr. R. A. Cox. The chairman's current annual salary is £14,104; members receive an annual salary of £1,000.
