§ Sir Bernard Braineasked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs whether the 307,000 square nautical miles proclaimed as the Gilbert Islands colony fishing zone, established by the Governor's proclomation of 10th March 1978, included areas of the Pacific Ocean dependent on base points on the Northern Line Islands and on the Phoenix Islands.
