§ Mr. Tilleyasked the Secretary of State for Social Services what expenditure has been incurred by his Department in setting up detoxification units under circular 21/73; and how many units, with how many places, in which cities, have been set up.
§ Mr. MoyleTwo units have been set up, one in Leeds with 24 places in the detoxificaiton centre and a total of 21 places in three supporting hostels, and one in Manchester with 15 places in the detoxification centre.
Experiments in detoxification under circular 21/73 since 1976 amounts to £142,000, all in Leeds.
