§ 46. Mr. Madelasked the Secretary of State for Education and Science if she is satisfied with the co-operation between her Department and local education authorities in England in relation to future developments in the school curriculum.
§ Mrs. Shirley WilliamsYes. Such co-operation is part of the continuing relationship between all of the partners in the education service. Within that framework, future developments in the school curriculum will be a matter for further consultation in the light of the review initiated by my Department's circular 14/77. More than half the local education authorities have already responded to the circular and the rest are expected to reply shortly.
