HL Deb 10 July 1978 vol 394 cc1425-6WA
Lord HYLTON

asked Her Majesty's Government:

What information they have about the alleged presence in Vietnam of armed forces of the USSR, Algeria, Poland, Hungary, Cuba and North Korea, in divisional strength in each case.

Lord GORONWY-ROBERTS

We believe that there may be a number of Soviet military advisers in Vietnam. We have no evidence of any foreign armed forces being there in divisional strength.
