§ Mr. Guy BarnettThe consultative council, chaired by my right hon. Friend the Secretary of State, comprises Ministers from central Government Departments with an interest in local Government services and elected members representing the Association of County Councils—ACC—the Association of Metropolitan Authorities—AMA—the Association of District Councils—ADC—the London Boroughs Association—LBA—and the Greater London Council—GLC. Officials are also in attendance. The council has no fixed membership.
