§ Mr. Bidwellasked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs to what extent recently he has been involved in seeking to implement the United Nations resolutions on Cyprus which call for withdrawal of invasion troops.
§ Mr. JuddThe Government have been involved, both at the United Nations and more widely, in efforts to secure progress over the Cyprus problem. The question of foreign armed forces in the Republic of Cyprus will not easily be resolved except in the context of an overall Cyprus settlement.
