§ Mr. MeacherThe following organisations with a substantial number of small retailers sponsor members of the Distribution Statistics Advisory Committee: the National Chamber of Trade, the Drapers Chamber of Trade, the Scottish Grocers Federation and Retail Consortium (two members). Two of the five members are known to be actively involved in the running of small to medium retail businesses.
