(2) what representations he has had regarding disease of onions imported 41W from Poland; and if he will make a statement;
(3) what has been the overall volume and cost of onions imported from Poland.
§ Mr. StrangThe United Kingdom imported 1,300 tonnes of onions valued at £351,000 from Poland in 1976, the latest year for which complete trade statistics are available. There is no financial support for such imports which, on the contrary, pay an import duty of 12 per cent. No representations have been received regarding diseases of onions imported from this source.
