§ Mr. GoldingI am informed by my right hon. Friend the Secretary of State for Defence that no decisions have been taken about moving the Royal Navy Pay154W and Records Office from Gosport. Since it is unlikely that such a move would take place before 1985–86, it is not yet possible to make any detailed assessment of the employment consequences. However, my right hon. Friend will, of course, take into account the impact of such a move on those employed at the office in coming to his decision.
