HC Deb 15 February 1978 vol 944 c288W
Rev. Ian Paisley

asked the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland if he will make a statement on the withdrawal from work of those members of the Ulster Defence Regiment employed in the Autolite factory in Finaghy.

Mr. Mason,

pursuant to his reply [Official Report, 13th February 1978; Vol. 944, c. 94], gave the following information:

I understand that some members of the UDR employed at the Autolite factory temporarily withdrew from work. The security forces have been dealing with the problem, but as the hon. Member will appreciate, it would not be right to divulge details of the measures taken.
