§ Mr. Georgeasked the Secretary of State for Defence what discussions are taking place by the European Programme Group on the standardisation of military tactics and strategies as a necessary prerequisite to weapon standardisation; and whether, if no such discussions are currently being held, he will consider raising the issue at the European Programme Group.
§ Dr. GilbertWhile the EPC has not established a body dedicated specifically to standardising military tactics and strategies, it already has a considerable programme of work, and makes full use of the operational concepts and outline staff targets agreed in the Eurogroup and NATO.
