§ Mr. Harry EwingA number of proposals for establishing treatment centres for alcoholics in Scotland, involving both statutory and voluntary bodies, and possibly including detoxification facilities as part of the rehabilitative process, are presently under consideration. My Department will make available any appropriate assistance in furthering these developments, but it is too early to say whether any of them will reach fruition in 1978.
