§ Mr. Morganasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department if he will give consideration to the possibility of amending Section 23(7) of the Representation of the People Act 1949 so as to enable postal voting to take place in the election of Welsh community and town councillors.
§ Mr. Wigleyasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department if he will take steps to amend Section 23(7) of the Representation of the People Act 1949, in order to allow the use of postal votes in community council elections in time for the round of elections scheduled for 1979.
