§ Mrs. Renée Shortasked the Secretary of State for Social Services whether he intends to collect up-to-date figures of children attending day nurseries to replace those now available which are two years out-of-date.
§ Mr. MoyleDay care statistics are collected from local authorities as at 31st March each year and are normally available within 12 months of that date. Shortly before new statistics become available, the existing ones therefore will be nearly two years old.
