§ Mr. Tomlinson:United Kingdom funding of the various schemes for land transfer in Kenya will cease on 31st March 1979. To date, about 1,400 farms with a total acreage of about 3.5 million acres have been transferred at a total cost of around £31 million to aid funds; only 34 of the farms eligible for transfer to Kenyan ownership under United Kingdom aid remain unsold.
