§ Mr. Jim Spicerasked the Secretary of State for the Environment if he will list to date the drought orders that have been made under the Drought Act 1976 stating the area to which each applies and the dates between which each order has remained in force.
§ Mr. Denis Howell:To date, some 140 orders under the Drought Act 1976 have been made in England and Wales. I shall write to the hon. Member with more information.
