§ Mr. Spearingasked the Prime Minister what reports have been received by the Heads of Government of the EEC from the EEC Commission concerning the common agricultural policy; and what action has been taken.
§ The Prime Minister:The Commission has submitted a report including guide- 554W lines for the future development of the CAP. It will be made available to Parliament. There was a short discussion of this report at the last meeting of the European Council and the Council will return to the subject at its next meeting in March. The Commission intends that its detailed price proposals for 1979–80 should reflect the guidelines laid down in the document.
