§ Mr. Fairbairnasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department if he will seek to make it an offence for any person to offer an inducement, whether financial or otherwise, to a defendant in return for making an application to lift reporting restrictions at a committal hearing under the terms of section 3(2) of the Criminal Justice Act.
