§ Mr. Blenkinsopasked the Secretary of State for Industry if he will make a statement about the further report on the promotion of industrial democracy within British Shipbuilders.
§ Mr. KaufmanThe report has been submitted by British Shipbuilders and I have today laid copies before each House of Parliament. The report sets out a constructive plan of action based on the establishment of local groups to be set188W up in each subsidiary. These groups are to prepare detailed plans for the development of industrial democracy in their companies by the end of this year. A further progress report will be submitted to me at that time.
