Mr. Fitt

asked the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland (1) how many persons are signing the unemployed register at the Falls Road and Shankill Road local offices in West Belfast, respectively;

(2) how many young persons, males and females, between the ages of 16 and 21 years are signing the unemployed register at the Falls Road and Shankill Road offices in West Belfast respectively;

(3) how many males under 30 years old are signing the unemployed register in the Falls Road and Shankill Road local offices in West Belfast, respectively;

(4) how many persons signing the unemployment register at the Falls Road and Shankill Road local offices, respectively, in West Belfast, who do not qualify for unemployment benefit, are in receipt of supplementary benefit;

(5) how many persons signing the unemployed register at the Falls Road and Shankill Road local offices, respectively, in West Belfast do not qualify for unemployment benefit;

(6) how many persons signing the unemployment register at the Falls Road and Shankill Road local offices, respectively, in West Belfast qualify for the receipt of unemployment benefit;

(7) how many persons, male and female, are signing the unemployed register quarterly at the Falls Road and Shankill Road social security offices in West Belfast, respectively.

asked the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland (1) how many young persons under 21 years of age both males and females who are signing the unemployed register at the Falls Road and Shankill Road local offices in West Belfast, have never had employment since they left school;

(2) how many young persons under the age of 21 years males and females have had the benefit of training at Government training centres and are now signing the unemployed register at the Falls Road and Shankill Road offices, respectively, in West Belfast;

(3) how many young persons under the age of 21 years, male and female, have had training at a Government training centre and have never had paid employment;

(4) how many persons signing the unemployment register at the Falls Road and Shankill Road local offices in West Belfast, respectively have been unemployed for over one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine and 10 years.
