§ 19. Mr. Biffenasked the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland if he will make a statement on the future level of parliamentary representation of Northern Ireland.
§ Mr. MasonThe report of Mr. Speaker's Conference on Northern Ireland representation was sent to the Prime Minister on 13th February. It recommended 511W that the number of parliamentary seats in Northern Ireland should be 17. The Government are considering the report and I hope to make a statement next week.
