HC Deb 13 April 1978 vol 947 cc493-4W
Mr. Faulds

asked the Secretary of State for the Environment whether he will set up an examination of the feasibility of using St. Pancras Station for the ancillary services, trades and small industries which the proposed British Library nearby will both require and generate.

Mr. Peter Shore

The Greater London Council is responsible for preparing an action area plan for the King's Cross and St. Pancras area. The provision of services related to the proposed British Library will be looked at within the framework of that plan. I understand that the British Railways Board has no plans to cease using St. Pancras Station.
